**The battery on this laptop is described as being able to hold a charge. The test which has been done is to connect the laptop to the mains until the battery charging light goes green. Then 24 hours later if the laptop powers up on battery power it is deemed to hold a charge.
I do not make any duration promises concerning how long laptops run on battery power as it depends on usage (CD spinning, sound, brightness of screen etc) & it is not possible to accurately describe how long a laptop will last on battery power.
